Following our interview with them in July, The Aggrolites came to Asbury Park’s The Wonder Bar for a one-night bender of the Dirty Reggae variety.
Though the show had its complications — from what we understand, neither of the two opening bands booked for the gig showed up — The Aggrolites absolutely killed it. One could definitely tell they were happy to be playing a smaller, more intimate club environment than what they’d been used to with 311 and Slightly Stoopid on this year’s Unity Tour.
While some bands prefer to use their days off to do things non-music related, The Aggrolites got their kicks by playing yet another show on what was already a busy tour for them. The house was decently packed, and everyone had a blast.
They were even cool enough to come party with us over at the Asbury Lanes after things at the Wonder Bar died down. Once again, we had a blast and can’t wait for these guys to come back again. Below are some of the photos I flicked during the brief and infrequent moments when I wasn’t shaking my ass, tipping beers down my throat, and singing along. ‘Merica. Enjoy.
