I need to hang my head in musical shame right now. Before Pop-Break interviewed Dada this week, I literally had no idea who the band was. I vaguely had heard the name of the band before, but I knew zero, zilch, nada about them.
Then I walked into the Wonder Bar in Asbury Park, New Jersey.
I was introduced to the trio as they immediately shook my musical soul with blistering guitar work, super-melodic vocals and an energy that had the crowded rocking. I realized this band needs to be on my musical radar right now. And for those of you who know Dada and maybe question if the band has ‘still got it’ the answer quite frankly is — yes, yes they do.
