Theater, Rent, No Thanks, Undecided? Theater. Phase two of the Marvel cinematic universe is starting this Friday, and I’ve already got tickets ready to go. Any Marvel Studios movie that has to follow The Avengers certainly has their work cut out for them, but if anyone can do it, it’s Robert Downey, Jr. back in his solo element. With no help from friends, Downey’s Tony Stark aka Iron Man has a battle to face on his own, which is looking to have a darker tone in this go round, an atmospheric element this series needs after the disappointing Iron Man 2. I for one am super excited for the third (or really, is it the fourth?) outing of Stark’s adventures, which, from the looks of it, seems to have enough action to satisfy post Avengers fans. In any case, I’m totally pumped and ready. –LJF
Theater, Rent, No Thanks, Undecided? Theater. This movie just looks so boss. Iron Man 2 was a bit of letdown, but this third film looks even better. It looks action-packed and full of fun and coming off The Avengers, I think RD Jr. will be at the top of his game. As the villain, you can’t get any better than Ben Kingsley as The Mandarin. –BB
