bill bodkin and logan j. fowler get beamed up …
Theater, Rent, No Thanks, Undecided? Theater. When the revamped Star Trek hit the theater in 2009, I was not any where near being a fan of the long running Trek franchise. However, upon exiting the theater four years ago from J.J. Abrams retooled tale of Captain Kirk and company, I was more than pleasantly surprised at how great the movie was. So it’s easy to say my expectations for the sequel are pretty high. I’ve stayed away from most of the trailers, trying not to get sucked into the hype machine, but I will say that my butt is going to be in a seat for this sequel opening weekend. I’m pretty damn excited to take the next journey on the Enterprise. –LJF
Theater, Rent, No Thanks, Undecided? Theater. I loved J.J. Abrams’ version of Star Trek despite never having been Trekkie at all. After the credits rolled four years ago on that version on the film I knew there’d be a sequel. When it was announced I was mildly interested … then came CUMBERBATCH. Yes, the amazing Benedict Cumberbatch was announced as the villain. He’s such an amazing actor that this film became exponentially better before I even saw the trailer. In fact my ticket to be to opening weekend was bought months ago solely based on the inclusion of The ‘Batch. Then I saw this trailer which is to the gills with action and I cannot wait for this weekend. –BB
