Pre-Trailer Thoughts: The cinematic directorial debut of Jason Bateman? This could be interesting. –LJF | Literally had no clue what this movie was it about. –BB

Rate the Trailer (1-5): Five out of five. Hopefully the few clips showcased didn’t completely use all the humor found within Bad Words, because I was laughing my ass off during Bateman’s harsh delivery of his rude vocabulary. This dark comedy looks intriguing for sure. –LJF

Rate the Trailer (1-5): Two and a Half out of five. This was actually a better trailer than I thought it would be. It was a lot darker than expected yet there’s still a sense of warmth mainly due to Bateman’s relationship with his young co-star. –BB

Theater, Rent, No Thanks, Undecided? Theater. This has gotta be probably the first indie sort of film I’ve wanted to see so badly upon release. Yes, I am reviewing for pop-break so I need to see it opening weekend, but even if I wasn’t critiquing it for the site, Bad Words looks like a hilarious good time. The Billy Madison of 2014 looks like it has plenty of humor and heart to mix together, and I for one am curious to see how it all turns out. –LJF

Theater, Rent, No Thanks, Undecided? Rent. Nothing about this movie screams “SEE ME NOW!!!!” Yet, at the same time, it still intrigues. Jason Bateman is quality in every movie he does even if some of those movies aren’t exactly quality themselves. It’ll be interesting to see how Bateman fares as an actor and director, so I’ll definitely give this film a shot. –BB
