There’s a pretty cool heavy metal band coming into NYC tonight, check out the band, BIBLICAL, if you’re looking to get your metal up tonight.
Press Release: Biblical will be performing at the Mercury Lounge in New York City on Friday, June 20. This show will provide NYC fans their first chance to see the Toronto quartet perform in support of its latest full-length, Monsoon Season, an album that exemplifies the band’s gift for creating thunderous rock drenched in psychedelic overtones.
The band has built a name for itself with their electrifying instrumental execution and 70’s amp stack worship. With its roaring live show, Biblical became a strong performer on bills with such notable bands as Kyuss Lives, Red Fang, Fucked Up, Torche, Wooden Shjips, Death From Above 1979, and others. Since its release, Monsoon Season has earned high praise from tastemakers like Pitchfork, Metal Sucks, Brooklyn Vegan, Paste Magazine, Decibel Magazine, Loudwire, and Metal Injection, as well as from Canada’s leading newspaper The Toronto Star and CBC Music (who named Biblical as part of the future of Canadian metal).
