Rate the Trailer (1-5): Two out of five. This movie seems to be getting most of its fuel from Macintosh/Apple product bashing or using. Siri jokes are still topical? I digress though. Honestly I love Jason Segel and would watch him in anything but he’s better than this. I guess the chemistry between him and Diaz was enough to spurn a film featuring the two with different context. I chuckled a few times during the trailer, but I wasn’t guffawing. –LJF
Rate the Trailer (1-5): One out of five. Outside of Segel’s joke about “The Cloud” there was nothing creative about this trailer that separated it from every other run-of-the-mill comedy. –BB
Theater, Rent, No Thanks, Undecided? Rent. Despite my lack of interest with the trailer. I feel like it definitely could be an ok rental for a rainy night. My adoration of Segel is drawing me to it, plus the solid cast (Rob Coddry, Rob Lowe, and Diaz isn’t hugely great in my mind but she can entertain if given the right material). Let’s just hope that this tape isn’t worth erasing much like the tagline says. –LJF
Theater, Rent, No Thanks, Undecided? No Thanks. I really don’t like anything Cameron Diaz does and I don’t even think Jason Segel can save this movie from being a painfully predictable and painfully unfunny film. –BB
