Pop-Break Live: Pop-Break’s Five-Year Anniversary Party

pop-break-live.jpg

Pop-Break turns 5 years old today, but we celebrated a few days early. This past Friday — Sept. 26 — we and Dark City Entertainment presented a birthday concert: the 5-Year Anniversary a Go Go at the Wonder Bar in Asbury Park, N.J. The night featured music from a bunch of New Jersey bands: Jason Robert & The Ruiners, The Clydes, The Brigantines, Amy Malkoff & The Moonshines, and Modern Chemistry.

This review of the night — featuring photos by Jeff Crespi — will be a totally biased one. After all, I helped produce the show. But it was one of the most fun shows I’ve ever been a part of, and I’m so thankful that the Wonder Bar and Dark City Entertainment helped make this happen.
