Pre-Trailer Thoughts: Disney Animation follows Frozen with a film about superheroes. –LJF
Pre-Trailer Thoughts: I didn’t see Frozen (and until my kid wants to watch it, I probably won’t), but I loved Wreck-It Ralph. So, sign me up.
Rate the Trailer (1-5): Four out of Five. This film seems pretty adorable. Plus, Disney knows how to handle superheroes cause well, it owns Marvel. Baymax is sure to win the hearts of everyone and the trailer definitely showcases humor mostly from the big white robot. The animation looks great to boot. I’m excited. –LJF
Rate the Trailer (1-5): Four out of Five. Action? Check. Adorable robot superhero? Check. LOL-zy sight gags? Check. All the trappings of a good trailer. –BB
Theater, Rent, No Thanks, Undecided? Theater. This film already comes highly recommended from pop-break.com staff members Luke Kalamar and Lauren Stern, two lucky individuals who got to see the movie at NYCC 2014. Not that I wasn’t going to see it anyway, but their thumbs up helps. Also, this is the two year “we like each other” anniversary movie of me and my girlfriend (Wreck-it Ralph was our first movie together and was on the day we told each other of our mutual affections, Frozen followed that tradition…get it?) so it’s a definite necessity to check it out for that reason too. Plus, it just looks really fun and enjoyable, but I’ve heard firsthand this is a tearjerker. I can’t imagine how this film will pull at the heart strings, but I guess I am willing to find out. I’m on board 100%. –LJF
Theater, Rent, No Thanks, Undecided? Theater. Disney proved with Wreck-It Ralph they can make a kiddie super hero cartoon that adults can not only appreciate, but love. From the advance word on this, I think this going a fantastic movie, and I’ll be there opening weekend. –BB
