Analysis: Here are the locks: Patricia Arquette (Boyhood), Keira Knightley (The Imitation Game), and Emma Stone (Birdman). After that, it gets a little tricky. We got three names for two more spots: Meryl Streep, Naomi Watts (St. Vincent), and Jessica Chastain. I guess you have to include Meryl Streep by law, but for Into the Woods? Really? It feels like we’re just padding her stats at this point. I know Naomi Watts got the SAG nomination, but I’m going with Chastain. She had such an overall presence this year, and I don’t think anyone is going to lose sleep over leaving out St. Vincent.
Bill Bodkin:

Analysis: This race is really going to be Stone vs. Arquette, everyone else is along for the ride. Knightley and Chastain will be get their noms, but unless there’s a last second surge (which could happen for Chastain), they aren’t stepping into the main event. The final nom is one where I’m going to be contrarian. The Academy will probably go with Meryl Streep, but since Watts got the SAG nom and Streep didn’t, I’m saying they won’t reward Meryl for a not-so-awesome performance.
