Release Date: March 6th, 2015
Starring: Vince Vaughn, Tom Wilkinson, Dave Franco, Nick Frost
Director: Ken Scott (Delivery Man)
Pre-Trailer Thoughts: Vince Vaughn is once again the fast-talking dude who gets in way over his head through a series of events. How many times have we seen this before? -LJF
Pre-Trailer Thoughts: Vince Vaughn’s doing the Vince Vaughn thing with the funnier Franco. I dunno, this could be fun, right? –BB
Rate the Trailer: One out of five. What a terrible cast to waste. Tom Wilkinson is way better than this, and I really like Vaughn, but he needs better stuff to work with. The younger Franco has shown potential, but he’s not his brother in a comedic sense. He’ll find his way, I’m sure. This trailer didn’t make me laugh or chuckle or smile even once. Not good. -LJF
Rate the Trailer: Two out of five. This rating seems harsher than my thoughts for the trailer really are. This looks your usual Vince Vaughn movie and frankly, there’s nothing wrong with that. –BB
Theater, Rent, No Thanks, Undecided? No Thanks. Despite being entertained by everyone featured within, Unfinished Business doesn’t look like it’s going to “work (see what I did there?)” for me. What I’ve seen hasn’t tickled my funny bone whatsoever, and this is coming from a guy who is pretty easily amused. I’ll pass, thanks. -LJF
Theater, Rent, No Thanks, Undecided? No Thanks. This is a solid rental or a movie you catch on HBO. No, this isn’t going to be a comedy tour de force (even though Nick Frost is in it), and there will be so many predictable moments. However, in the end Unfinished Business will be entertaining nonetheless. –BB
Unfinished Business hits theaters on March 6th.
