Trailer Tuesday

Starring: Jay Hieron

Director: Gregory Plotkin

Pre-Trailer Thoughts: They are still making these? I guess they do alright for business. -LJF

Pre-trailer Thoughts: I am curious as to how this new movie is considered the fifth installment. Are we to ignore that The Marked Ones never happened as the fifth film in the series? Let’s be honest, the films have gradually gotten worse since the first film came out. I feel they are just beating a dead horse at this point. -AH

Rate the Trailer: One out of five. Who edited this trailer? It is absolutely horrible and gives everything away. I never got into these movies, and I sure won’t start now. -LJF

Rate the Trailer: One out of Five. I just watched the entire movie in two minutes. What reason would I have to even go see it now? I hate that they started the trailer out by talking about how Katie and Hunters whereabouts were unknown…until now, and then didn’t say or show anything else related to them. You cant start a trailer with an insinuation that the film is about one thing and then completely ignore that topic. -AH

Theater, Rent, No Thanks, Undecided? No Thanks. A horrible trailer normally equals a horrible movie. Then again, a great trailer still could mean a terrible movie. I’m not going to risk PA: The Ghost Dimension but it looks dreadful. -LJF

Theater, Rent, No Thanks, Undecided?: No Thanks. I haven’t enjoyed a film in the series since Paranormal Activity 3 and even that enjoyment was minimal. Making six movies has been unnecessary. I’ll hold out for Rob Zombie’s 31 instead. -AH

Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension hits theaters in October.
