Top 10 Movie Robots

9. TARS (Interstellar)

While very recent, this particular robot made its impact pretty quickly. For all the people who say
Christopher Nolan is a humorless cold machine, TARS disproves that. The appeal of TARS isn’t his crazy space calculations, but all his wise ass comments. Despite looking like a giant Jenga piece, TARS is legitimately funny. This is a character who could have easily been in a Who Framed Roger Rabbit type movie. Bill Irwin in particular does a great job with the voice. When you go out on an interstellar search for new planets to colonize, TARS is definitely the sidekick you want on your team.
