Party with Party Scream All Night Long in Asbury Park

Primal Scream, the legendary Scottish band, that blended rock ‘n’ roll with psychedelia, electronica and trip hop, before doing that was ever cool, will be starting Asbury Park’s Memorial Day Weekend right.

Obviously, you know about the band’s headlining gig at the legendary Stone Pony on Friday May 22nd, with doors opening at 7pm. And that the awesome, local garage rock band, Acid will be opening. If you haven’t got tickets yet, click here.

But wait!

Don’t think when the band plays their final song, everyone’s just going home.

Nope.

Our friends over at Arcade Radio (support them, they’re great people), will be hosting a killer after-party immediately following PS’ show at the equally world famous, Asbury Lanes. The after-party will featuring music from the premiere mixmaster of the AP scene DJ Mike Merrell who’ll be spinning with DJ Magic Juan.

Primal Scream will be hanging at The Lanes once they’ve cool down. So you can hang out with your alt rock heroes, have some drinks, and listen to good music.

Here’s the ticket situation:

If you’re going to see Primal Scream at the Pony – hold onto your stub and you’ll get into the after-party for FREE.

If you’re working, stuck in traffic or just can’t make the Primal show (which is a shame), tickets can be purchased here for a very reasonable rate of just $5.

For more info (and updating info), follow the after party’s Facebook event page.
