After a spectacular Boston Calling Music Festival this May, the lineup for the upcoming festival, from September 25 to September 27, has been decided with 23 bands performing.
The September Boston Calling Music Festival will release the schedule for the performances a few weeks prior to the fun-filled festival. The three-day event will take place in two stages, with the 3-Day GA tickets being sold for $175, while the VIP tickets are for $375.
The confirmed September lineup includes: the Avett Brothers, Alt-J, Alabama Shakes, Hozier, Of Monsters and Men, Chvurches, Ben Howard, Chromeo, Walk the Moon, Nate Ruess, Father John Mistry, Strugill Simpson, Misterwives, Daughter, Twin Shadow, Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks, Fidlar, Doomtree, The Staves, Grizfolk, Bully, Dirty Bangs, and Grey Season.
The September Boston Calling Music Festival will take place at the City Hall Plaza, with the gates opening on Friday at 6 pm, and on Saturday and Sunday at 12 pm. Spectators will also be given food and beverages, from the reputed Tasty Burgers, and can also bring children ten years or under for free.
