Music festivals are the best things in the world. They are weekends full of music and vibing and chilling. Most people know about the big ones like Bonnaroo and Coachella but there are a bunch more for the *common folk.*
The XPoNEntial Festival sponsored by Subaru, is a three-day long music festival produced by the non-commercial, public radio station WXPN based out of Philadelphia. Yes, a radio station, and in many ways a festival for and by the common folk.
This year marks the the 20th anniversary of the festival which celebrates the unique experience of discovering new music and artists. Sponsored by Subaru, the XPoNential Music Festival has a packed line-up consisting of established artists as well as up-and-comers. The festival is being held on the Camden Waterfront — Susquehanna Bank Center and Wiggins Park will provide stages for the 30 performers over the three-day weekend.
Performing inside the Susquehanna Bank Center over the weekend will be: My Morning Jacket, St. Vincent, Grace Potter, George Ezra and The Wailers.
Wiggins Park performers will include: Dawes, Indigo Girls, Courtney Barnett, The Lone Bellow, First Aid Kit, The Word, Buckwheat Zydeco, and JD McPherson, amongst others.
