Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino has been tormenting fans for years about how she would have ended the much loved series. Sherman-Palladino had left the show a year prior to its end, leaving the final season in hands other than her own. But she has let us diehard fans dangle with the promise of four final words she has kept to end the series she created. Until now, we have had no hope.
The game has changed. Earlier today, TV Line reported that a Gilmore Girls revival deal was closed between Netflix and Warner Bros. Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop and Scott Patterson are expected back for the reprisal, though cast negotiations are just beginning. The four 90 minute episodes will finally allow Sherman-Palladino to give a proper ending to her beloved show and give fans some closure.
Netflix currently has all seven seasons readily available meaning a(nother) binge watch is in order.
