Korn may not be from New Jersey, but we definitely hold this band near and dear to our hearts. How many of us in our early 30s can remember the release of KORN’s self-titled debut as being a really, really big deal. We had the tape, or the CD blaring in our headphones, as we thrashed to such classics as “Blind” and “Shoots and Ladders.” Time certainly does fly because the band has gone onto unbelievable heights of success, and remain one of the most consistently fun hard-edged bands out there.
Recently, Pop-Break’s Saidy Lopez caught the band killing it at The Wellmont Theater on their 20th Anniversary Tour which also featured Suicide Silence, and Islander.
