David Oliver – The Good Wife
The Good Wife continues to reinvent itself each season. Following Alicia’s scandal, she’s headed to bond court and charting her own territory. This season is even further post-Will, and now post-Kalinda, exploring what it’s like for Alicia to be truly on her own – despite it seeming like she was at the series’ start. The fact it can maintain quality for seven seasons speaks to the clever writing, and especially new characters like Alicia’s bond court friend Luca and the always revelatory Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Jason, Alicia’s investigator. My question, though: if this is indeed the series’ final season, where is it going? And how closely will it follow the current election season? Regardless, I’m very much along for the ride.
