Christmas came a little early for music fans today.
The creators of the Firefly Music Festival surprised everyone this morning when they dropped the line-up for its 2016 installment. While there could definitely changes to this appears to be the whole enchilada.
The line-up is impressive, but encourage you to look past the first two rows of artists. Yes, we know Mumford and Florence will move the masses for ticket sales, current hotness Fetty Wap will bring the mainstream fans, and blink-182 and Ludacris will encourage older concert-goers to dust off their festival gear, but it’s the midcard that has us excited.
There’s some excellent artists there – Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Flogging Molly, Fitz & The Tantrums, PVRIS, Civil Twilight, Guster, Elle King, Night Riots – all are located in that massive amount of text. And all of them are pretty rad, so take a minute and really look through this line-up, you’re going to find some awesome artits.
