A few weeks ago, American Horror Story: Hotel revealed the origins of The Countess (Lady Gaga) involving Rudy (Finn Wittrock) and Natasha (Alexandra Daddario), whom we discovered were walled up inside the Hotel Cortez by Mr. March (Evan Peters). Now Rudy and Natasha are free, allowing The Countess another chance at happiness.
Will Drake and The Countess plan their wedding while The Countess and Donovan (Matt Bomer), who has made his way back into her bed, plan Drakes death to inherit his money. What The Countess does not know is that Donovan and Ramona (Angela Bassett) still want revenge on The Countess for her love crimes against them. Donovan plans to attack from the inside now that he has the love of The Countess again; however, since he is still in love with her, Ramona has to take lead.
The Countess has the hole in the wall from when Rudy was released patched up with an impenetrable door under the guise that it is a “wedding present” to Will Drake to hold his collections. Instead, the room is meant to hold all of The Countess’s enemies, with cameras set up for her to watch them suffer inside.
Alex’s decision to save the dying boy comes back to haunt her when she finds that he has turned half a dozen children into vampires who have murdered all of their parents and several others. As children are not logical enough to realize that the trail of bodies will not only lead back to them but will also expose them for what they are, Alex has to find a way to stop them.
While there are multiple people in the Hotel Cortez that want revenge against The Countess for crimes she has committed against them, there are just as many people she wants her own revenge against and it seems that she is going to get it. It is only a matter of time, however, that one of them will succeed in taking her down. We have four more episodes to find out who the lucky person is and, while I would love for Liz Taylor (Denis O’Hare) to hold the honor, my money is on Donovan. Fool him once, shame on him, right? Well, it seems she has officially fooled him twice and he isn’t likely to take it as lightly as he did this last time. I suppose we can only wait and see.
American Horror Story: Hotel airs Wednesday nights at 10PM on FX
