Our friends at the AP Surf Music Festival and Little Dickman Records will be bringing a new night to the Asbury Park.

The new night will be dubbed “Aloha Friday” and it will take place at The Anchor’s Bend, an excellent bar and restaurant located in The Grand Arcade of Convention Hall.

The night will feature live surf music, this week by the instrumental surf music trio Black Flamingos (full schedule TBA). There will also be classic surf movies playing on the TVs throughout the bar. There will be specialty tiki drink being created behind the bar.

The actual Asbury Park Surf Music Festival will take place on August 27th. It’s new home will be at The Anchor’s Bend — taking over for its former home at The Asbury Lanes.
