POP-BREAK LIVE: THE LAST SHADOW PUPPETS AT WEBSTER HALL
After eight long years, The Last Shadow Puppets returned to New York for a sold out show at Webster Hall on April 11, 2016. The Arctic Monkeys’ Alex Turner and Miles Kane released their second album, Everything You’ve Come To Expect, earlier in April and are currently on a world tour in support of it.
Singer/songwriter Cam Avery of Tame Impala opened with amazing set. Look for the artist to start selling out venues across the country once his album is released.
Turner and Kane played an extensive set featuring new song like “Aviation,” “Dracula Teeth,” and “Bad Habits.” They also played tracks off their first album, The Age of the Understatement, including “The Meeting Place,” “In My Room,” and “Standing Next To Me.” The closed out the show with a three song encore that included an phenomenal cover of “She’s So Heavy” by The Beatles. Overall, The Last Shadow Puppets made a grand return to New York City.
