After the success of Creed, actress Tessa Thompson will join the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the new Thor sequel.
‘Thor: Ragnarok’ will star Chris Hemsworth as he reprises his role as the Norse God for the fifth time on the big screen. Joining him in the film, along with his moody friend Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) aka The Hulk. According to IMDb, Tom Hiddleston and Maggie Sif will return as well playing Loki and Lady Sif respectively.
No word yet on the exact role Miss Thompson will be playing, but in the Marvel Universe, I’m sure it will be a badass one. With roles and characters like Black Widow, Maria Hill, and Scarlet Witch, Thompson is in good company.
Thompson has starred in other hits ‘Dear White People’ and ‘Selma‘. She is set to star in a leading role for HBO’s new series ‘Westworld‘.
The film will be directed by Taika Waiti (known for the quirky indie film Eagle vs. Shark) and is slated for November 3, 2017 release.
