5. The Angry Birds Movie

This will be the first of two back-to-back animated movies on the list. The allure of the Angry Birds name won’t play a huge factor in brining people in. If you were a fan of that game as a kid, you’ve probably matured into higher quality movies by now. The good news is the trailer got a good response, and it looks very kid-friendly. There aren’t a lot of sure things in the summer, but animated kid movies always seem to be a good bet. This should clean up.
What It Has Going For It: Looks like an appealing kids movie.
What It Has Going Against It: Video game adaptations don’t exactly have the best track record.
