The Monmouth Beach, New Jersey native Colton Kayser is back with his second full-length album, Place to Settle, which will be released on July 30. This singer/songwriter’s 10-song LP explores love, loss and a search for inner peace.
Fans can visit Kayser’s website to hear the title track “Place to Settle,” which promises plenty of alt. country, folk and Americana sounds on the album.
Specifically, the LP examines Kayser’s first major breakup, life after grad school and enduring the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy. The album confronts the uncertainties of life and how to navigate through them. These topics make for an introspective album that has a hopeful undertone due to Kayser’s bright and inviting voice.
Colton Kayser is a known name in the Jersey shore music scene, with multiple nominations for the Asbury Music Awards ranging from Top Male Acoustic Act, Top New Male Act to Record of the Year.
