American Horror Story Season 6 Logo Revealed and Raises More Questions Than Answers

We’ve had haunted Hollywood houses, an evil nun-infested loony bin, Stevie Nicks, a freak show, and even a vampiric entourage ran by a fabulous pop-star.

It’s anybody’s guess as to what the next season of Ryan Murphy’s horror anthology will center around.

Today on the show’s Twitter page, a stylish new teaser logo was been revealed for Season 6 of American Horror Story. Pretty much summing up our feelings, the logo is a red conflated number 6 and a question mark. The show, although seemingly episodic in nature, does connect its various characters and settings through subtle details or obvious tie-ins. One of the more overt inter-seasonal connections was the revelation of Pepper’s origins between Asylum and Freak Show. Despite Season Six being shrouded in mystery, it’s not stopping fans from cooking up some tinfoil hat theories.

At PaleyFest in March, Murphy announced that Kathy Bates, Denis O’Hare, Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson, Finn Whitlock, Wes Bentley, Cheyenne Jackson and Matt Bomer would be returning for the sixth season. Lady Gaga, who took home a Golden Globe for her role as The Countess last season, confirmed her return earlier this year.

When it came to the substance of this year’s installment of AHS, showrunner had this to say during a PaleyFest Q&A: “The interesting thing about the next season is that we’ve been working on two ideas at once, which we’ve never done.” Murphy, like the logo, leaves more question marks above our heads.

So readers, what do you think this season will be about?
