3. “What he means is old testament, Mr. Mayor. Real wrath of God type stuff. Fire and brimstone coming down from the sky. Rivers and seas boiling” (Ray Stantz)
“Forty years of darkness. Earthquakes. Volcanos.” (Egon Spengler)
“The dead rising from the grave!” (Winston Zeddmore)
“Human sacrifice. Dogs and cats living together. Mass hysteria!” (Peter Venkman)
Yeah, I’m cheating. It’s more than one line, but you get the idea. This is arguably the most iconic line of dialogue from Ghostbusters. We’re really talking about the “dogs and cats living together” moment, but of course you need the build-up of everything else first. How many times in your life have you heard this line from a friend or co-worker? That says it all.

“Ok, so…she’s a dog.”
“where do these stairs go?”
“They go up”
Those are pretty good. Winston’s line “This job is definitely not worth eleven-five a year” was a near miss.
