Kong: Skull Island – The First Trailer Is Here

Kong Poster

After taking a break from superheroes, the Warner Brothers panel showed the Hall H crowd some Kong: Skull Island awesomeness.  This Kong reboot stars Tom Hiddleston, John Goodman, Jason Mitchell, and Academy Award winner, Brie Larson, all of whom were on stage for Hall H.  Not much is known about this film yet, but we now know it takes place in the 1970’s.  John Goodman’s character has been trying to prove Kong is real for decades.  Samuel L. Jackson is also in the film playing a military officer, as does Hiddleston’s character.  The director, Jordan Vogt-Roberts, was also on stage.  He helmed 2013’s The Kings of Summer.

We were treated to a poster earlier in the Con, but now we have the full trailer right here.  I’ve been skeptical of this movie, but I got to say, that was a solid first trailer.  The reveal of Kong is truly awe-inspiring.

Kong: Skull Island Opens March 10th, 2017!
