Marvel does it again.
After the latest binge session of Marvel’s Luke Cage on Netflix, which I’m sure most of you have already finished, Netflix has officially announced the released date of its newest venture on the streaming service, Iron Fist.
Iron Fist, which tells the tale of Danny Rand, who “returns to New York City after being missing for years, to fight corruption with a proficiency in kung-fu and the ability to call upon the power of the Iron Fist,” will premiere on March 17th, 2017.
As cited from Empire Online, “The character first debuted in Marvel comics in 1974, partly as a response to the craze of martial arts movies popularized by Bruce Lee. He frequently paired up with Luke Cage. He is also a key player in the superhero team The Defenders.”
Rand, who will be played by Finn Jones of Game of Thrones fame, will be an excellent addition to the Netflix/Marvel scene and will no doubt be your next obsession come March.
