Pop-Break Live: Eric Krasno at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey
Guitar gods are called “guitar gods” for a reason — they’re masters at their craft. In early November, one of the true, modern guitar gods of the modern era, Eric Krasno brought his band to The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey.
Krasno is a consumate guitar player, anchoring both Lettuce and Soulive with his blazing blues, jam, jazz and rock sound. He is also a frequent “sit in” guitarist with various jam and rock bands playing throughout the country. He is also a Grammy Award winning producer and performer who has worked with Norah Jones, Tedeschi Trucks, and 50 Cent to Talib Kweli, Aaron Neville, and Allen Stone.
Kras, as he’s affectionately known as, is currently on tour promoting his solo record Blood from a Stone which dropped in summer 2016.
Pop-Break’s Matt Heasley caught Krasno and the band in action.
