WWE Tables, Ladders, and Chairs 2016 Preview

tlcpredictions

I believe AJ Styles is trying to release a massive gastrointestinal calamity in the above photo.

Tonight is WWE’s Tables Ladders and Chairs event. Sounds cool, right? Tonight’s show is gimmicked up so here we go for the preview:

Kalisto vs. Bacon Rorbin

I really have no care for this one. There is no point to this insignificant feud. Will the loser go to RAW? Get future endeavored? Go to NXT? It’s a chairs match, so maybe we will get a few decent spots, but maybe I’ll be proven wrong. Winning pick goes to the Bastion of Bacon.

Nikki Bella vs. Carmella

Yet another match I have zero interest in. There will be a lot of hair pulling, screaming, and moans and sounds which sound like we’re on the wrong station. Maybe it’ll be a good match, or maybe this will be the train wreck we all expect it to be. Be that as it may, Cenikki will likely win. NOT likely is to see them make up and form the team of BellaMella.

Now, onto matches which will be entertaining.

Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship: Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz

Please, what other match would Mr. Ziggles have? I expect some scary bumps from both. Miz, once again has upped the game tremendously, and I am very aware this is not a majority opinion, but I feel Miz is at a resurgence, comparable to his WWE Championship run. Maryse is today’s Sensational Sherri Martel. There is no doubt about it. From ringside attire to antics, she has the old school valet channeled. The big Q is how much longer will this feud go? They have been trading the Intercontinental Championship like it’s the early-to-mid 90’s.

With this being said, a win for Ziggler would be positive. A loss for Ziggler would see a lot of question marks popping up, wondering what will be next. At this point, I feel a loss for Miz only makes him meaner. Doesn’t hurt his character at all. With all this in mind, I wonder if yet another title trade would benefit either man? It gives Ziggler another notch on his belt, no pun intended and gives the fans something to be satisfied with. On the other hand, Maryse is known to pull some shenanigans to help Miz, so I would expect should Miz win, it won’t be clean. Winner and still IC champion: Miz

SmackDown Women’s Championship: Alexa Bliss vs. Becky Lynch in a Tables Match

This will be good. Very good. Bliss and Lynch will surprise us all with some shocking bumps tonight. These ladies are comparable to the high profilers on RAW. Once Nikki Bella gets back into a title picture, it’s all over. Until then, expect a very competitive and entertaining match which Becky Lynch will retain the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

WWE Tag Team Championship: Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton  vs. Heath Slater and Rhyno

One of three options happen. Total squash by Wyatt and Orton. Two, Orton turns on Wyatt and costs them the titles, or lastly, we see a decent match which is a massive push for Slater and Rhyno, even though they’ll lose the titles tonight. I love the Slater/Rhyno bit, but they are no New Day. If Orton and Wyatt are staying together, then a title run should begin tonight.

WWE World Championship, TLC Match: Dean Ambrose vs. AJ Styles

Just when we thought this feud was winding down, all it takes is James Ellsworth to keep it going. My gut tells me this is the end of the Ambrose/Ellsworth friendship, and tonight just when Ambrose is about to win, Ellsworth mucks it up for the Loony Lunatic, and Styles will retain. Or, we get a solid, uninterrupted match, where we will hope with our last breath Dean Ambrose will reclaim the WWE Championship, but my gut tells me, some way, some how, AJ Styles will retain.
