Tool, Wu Tang, Childish Gambino, Chance & Lorde to Headline Gov Ball 2017

The annual Governors Balls Music Festival announced its line-up this morning, and it might be one of their most jam-packed line-ups to date.

The festival takes place June 2-June 4 at Randall’s Island in New York.

The first name on the bill could easily sell the entire festival out alone — TOOL. Yes, Maynard and the gang will ride once again. Outside of Guns ‘N Roses, Tool is one of the only Gov Ball headliners/upper card bands that will cater to the hard rock and heavy metal crowd.

Hip-hop is well represented at Gov Ball this year with the absolutely on fire Chance the Rapper headlining along with heavyweights like: Childish Gambino (aka Donald Glover), Logic, Wu Tang Clan, Wiz Khalifa, Rae Sremmurd, Schoolboy Q, and A$ap Ferg.

Indie and alt rock heads should totally be digging the inclusion of Gov Ball vets Phoenix, Cage the Elephant, The Head and the Heart, Phantogram, Bleachers and Royal Blood.

Pop and EDM kids can check out Lorde, Flume, Marshmello, Mark Ronson, and Air.

Tickets go on sales on Friday, January 6. Click here to keep an eye out on pre-sale info.
