When Spider-Man (perfectly portrayed by Tom Holland) stepped into the clash between superheroes in Captain America: Civil War, fans went nuts. Spidey easily stole the movie without any trouble, and it was due in thanks to the new dynamics the he had with the rest of the MCU, a factor never seen before. The webhead will have his first solo outing under the Marvel Studios banner this summer in July, and he’s set to suit up again next May to help the gang fight off Thanks in Avengers: Infinity War.
News broke recently that Holland would be returning to the role for what should be a massive payoff for Marvel, bringing together over a dozen characters featured in the MCU, including Spider-Man, who is thankfully able to appear in Marvel films due to a deal with Sony. One would wonder if he will be featured on the poster for the movie, as he was left out of any printing regarding Captain America: Civil War. Only time will tell. In any case, Spider-Man and his MCU buddies will have their hands full when they need to defeat big bad Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, which is set to release May 4th, 2018. Can’t wait!
