Pop-Break Live: Phil Lesh & The Terrapin Family Band at Brooklyn Bowl
It’s not everyday you get to see a member of The Grateful Dead perform.
On Sunday February 12, Dead bassist Phil Lesh brought his Terrapin Family Band to the jam capital of the greater New York City area, Brooklyn Bowl.
The band is comprised of Lesh, his son Grahame Lesh, Alex Koford, and Ross James. The band began as the official band at Phil Lesh’s Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, and is now currently his road band. Less is also known for performing in Furthur with Bob Weir, The Dead, The Other Ones, and Phil Lesh & Friends.
The Pop Break’s Matt Heasley caught the band in action.
