Muse Rock Central Park with New Single, Classics for a Good Cause

Pop Break Live: Muse at Central Park Park Summer Stage in New York City– July 24, 2017

Matthew Bellamy, Dominic Howard, Chris Wolstenholme, and company aka Muse, performed an absolute dynamite live show at the Central Park Summer Stage in New York City on July 24.

The band, who recently dropped a new single “Dig Down,” performed this special concert to benefit The Coalition for the Homeless.

According to their official website, “The Coalition for the Homeless is the nation’s oldest advocacy and direct service organization helping homeless men, women and children. We believe that affordable housing, sufficient food and the chance to work for a living wage are fundamental rights in a civilized society. Since our inception in 1981, the Coalition has worked through litigation, public education and direct services to ensure that these goals are realized.”

Outside of their new single, Muse broke out all their favorites, and incorporated some hints of AC/DC into a number of their songs like the riff to “Back in Black” in front of “Hysteria,” and “Who Knows Who” as the outro to “Map of the Problematique.” They also covered “New Kind of Kick” by The Cramps.

Pop Break’s Kat Manos covered the show — Check out her official website: katgoestorockshows.com and follow her on Instagram: @katgoestoshows
