Social Distortion Brings Raucous Good Times to Starland Ballroom

Pop Break Live: Social Distortion with Jade Jackson at Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ

Veteran punk rockers Social Distortion rolled into Sayerville N.J. Saturday August 12 and played to a sold out crowd at the Starland Ballroom. Originally formed in 1978 by Mike Ness Social D played a diverse set of old, older and a few cover tunes to a totally involved crowd who danced, sang and crowd surfed the night away.

Also on this ticket was Country recording artist Jade Jackson, whose latest music was produced by none other that Social D’s Mike Ness. Being a Country artist this matchup seemed a bit awkward for a punk rock show, but to my surprise it worked just fine. I enjoyed Jade’s set, as did the crowd.

Better off
Finish line
Troubled end
Long way home
