Who would have ever thought we’d see William Shatner in the Batman universe?
The beloved actor recently lent his vocal talents to the Warner Bros. animated film, Batman vs. Two-Face, which was released on DVD and VOD this month.
Check out our review of Batman vs. Two-Face.
Shatner assumed the role of Harvey Dent, the former Gotham District Attorney, whose face is brutally scarred by a crime lord, and eventually turns into mad criminal, Two-Face. In this film, Two-Face goes on an insane crime spree and it’s up to the Caped Crusader, and his trust sidekick to stop him. The film also features appearances by classic Batman villains: Catwoman, Joker, Bookworm, King Tut, Riddler, and Egghead.
This film takes place in the Adam West/Burt Ward era of the Batman Universe, and is a direct sequel to last year’s animated film, Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders. West, and Ward return to the film as Batman, and Robin respectively. Sadly, this was one of West’s last performances before he passed.

The cast also features Julie Newmar, who starred as Catwoman in the ’60s series, Thomas Lennon (The Odd Couple), and Steven Weber (Wings).
In this fascinating video interview from New York Comic Con 2017, Shatner goes in depth about playing the roles of both Harvey Dent, and Two-Face.
