Keiynan Lonsdale on Kid Flash, Wally & Jesse, and a Dream Team-Up

Over the summer The Pop Break caught up with Kenyan Lonsdale, who stars as Wally West aka Kid Flash, on The CW’s hit series, The Flash. The series has been one of the flagship shows for network’s surge in popularity along with other DC properties like Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow.

The Kid Flash character debuted in Season 2, and is the son of Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) and brother of Iris West (Candice Patton). In the aftermath of the “Flashpoint” storyline he eventually gained speed powers from Doctor Alchemy, and becomes “Kid Flash.”

Lonsdale, an Australian actor, is known for his roles as Uriah Pedrad in the Divergent films (Insurgent, Allegiant), The Finest Hours starring Chris Pine, and the popular Aussie teen drama, Dance Academy.
