The Shins Pour Their Heart(Worms) Out in Philadelphia

Pop Break Live: The Shins at The Fillmore in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

The Shins came to the gorgeous Fillmore in Philadelphia, PA in early November. James Mercer and the gang serenaded legions of fans with cuts from their classic back catalog, and new songs from their 2017 record Heartworms.

How good is the new record? According to our own Al Mannarino (who also shot the show), “Old and new fans of The Shins will find something to like on Heartworms, an album that that provides a perfect 41 minutes of escapism. James Mercer has officially returned and the world is beyond lucky to have such a talented auteur musician pop up every few years to grace with another magnificent piece of art.”
