Review: Lost Light #13

I love when IDW does the Artist Edition covers.

Great nods to the comic book covers of the eighties.

To explain this issue, I have one word: Ten.

Ten.

Have you been reading? Then you’ll understand.

If not, better go support your Local Comic Shop and grab some single-issues to catch up. Things have gone south. Last issue the Protectobots were practically slaughtered, more Autobots go bad, and it seems the “bad” Autobots are about to achieve victory. This issue takes us to the Lost Light crew, and events escalate quickly for the worse.

More death follows, plans go wrong, and everything imaginable which should have gone wrong for the entire crew all takes place within the span of two, maybe three pages, and it’s done very well.

You must think I joke.

The amazing fluidity of the writing and artwork sucks you into each step, as another mistake, or another disaster hits. Each one worse than the last.

Then… Ten.

Rating: 10 out of 10
