Part one of The Falling begins here.
Optimus and company are continually trying to keep the peace between Earth and Cybertron, and they do not seem to be completely aware of events taking place on the Transformer’s homeworld. Prime has his own problems, as tensions continue to mount, as they have been for the past three issues, and it seems the pressures of the title Prime are becoming a burden hardest to bear.
Many of the underlying tales in previous issues, as well as some stories from Lost Light and Windblade. Sinister forces are at work and threaten to… Well, eradicate everything.
Loyalties are questioned, former leaders brood while forming schemes, and possible hallucinations may be more than meets the eye.
From this issue, it is my guess many loose ends are going to tie together into one cataclysmic event. I can feel the tensions build, and the conclusion to the issue is a moment I did not expect in the way it unfolded. Just when you thought there was one major threat looming, we find an even larger one pulling the strings, or in this case, steel chains.
