The Most Creative Cosplay from Lexington Comic & Toy Con

Pop Break Live: Lexington Toy & Comic Con in Lexington, Kentucky

Words by Sheena Fisher | Photos by Sheena Fisher & Anthony Coleman

This past weekend Lexington Comic & Toy Convention kicked off its 6th year in fabulous fandom fashion. Celebrities, artists, writers, and vendors from around the world were in attendance. But, this convention also draws in a lot of cosplayers. Cosplayers were in full attendance this year of all skill levels. A majority of the cosplayers photographed are members a group called ORC’s (Ohio River Valley Cosplayers & Prop Builders).

As a cosplayer myself, cosplay has always one of my favorite parts of any convention. And, Lexington Comic & Toy Con did not disappoint. The amount of dedication and creativity from the cosplayers in attendance was insane. Classic fan-favorites like Wonder Woman, Star Wars characters were a plenty, and even anime favorites like Elias from The Ancient Magus’ Bride could be found all over the con floor. I am utterly amazed by the workmanship and creativity thrown into these costumes. Have a look and judge for yourself.

(Special Thanks to Anthony Coleman who helped with photography as well.)
