Makin Waves is a killer music column that has shown a light on countless bands that have come and gone in the New Jersey music scene. The column currently appears in The Aquarian Weekly, New Jersey Stage, NJArts.net, and AsburyMusic.com.
Bob Makin, the author of the column, is a passionately dedicated writer. This guy loves the music of this state, and it’s hard not to feel his passion in every word in his columns. He supports so many shows, champions so many bands, and is legitimately one of the good brothers of the scene.
He’s supported so many of us throughout the years (he’s promoted all our shows), so let’s all pay homage to the man who made it possible, and cool for us to write about New Jersey music this Saturday.
