Ashe Proves She’s Going to Be a Household Name in Philadelphia

Pop Break Live: Ashe (opening for LAUV) at The Foundry at The Fillmoore in Philadelphia, PA

Singer/Songwriter Ashe performed to a sold out crowd at Philadelphia’s Foundry on Saturday February 10th. She opened up for Lauv’s “I Met You When I was 18” tour. This is a name you should get to know.
She has been turning heads with her collaborations with Louis the Child, Whethan. She also co-wrote the new Demi Lovato song “You Don’t Do It For Me Anymore.”

This California native came out on stage barefoot and in a orange trenchcoat. She won the audience over early as she let everyone know what a self proclaimed weirdo she was and suggested they embrace their own weirdness. She had a very chill laid back style and her voice was reminiscent of the great ’70s style of music but with a little jazzy tinge to it.

It was a refreshing and there was no doubt she won over the Philly crowd.
