Wrestlemania 34 Predictions

It’s that time of year again! The grand daddy of them all! The showcase of the immortals! Wrestlemania!

As we do every year, we’ve gathered our staff, some friends, and a few people from the music industry to help us predict Wrestlemania 34!
The Card…

WWE Universal Title Match: “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar (C) vs. “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns

Kurt Angle & “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey vs. Stephanie McMahon & “The Game” Triple H

WWE Championship: “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles (C) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

IC Title Match: The Miz (C) vs. “The King Slayer” Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor

US Title Match: “The Viper” Randy Orton (C) vs. “Glorious” Bobby Roode vs. “The Modern Day Mahraja” Jinder Mahal vs. Rusev w/Aiden English

Smackdown Women’s Championship: Charlotte Flair (C) vs. Asuka

RAW Women’s Championship: Alexa Bliss (C) vs. Nia Jax

Daniel Bryan & Shane McMahon vs. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn

RAW Tag Titles: The Bar (C) vs. Braun Strowman & ??

Smackdown Tag Titles: The Usos (C) vs. The New Day vs. The Bludgeon Brothers

Cruiserweight Tile Match: Mustafa Ali vs. Cedric Alexander

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Cnrr7-nn5YWomen’s Battle Royal (Ruby Riott, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Carmella, Sarah Logan, Liv Morgan, Dana Brooke, Sonya Deville, Mickie James, Mandy Rose, Naomi…and various guest stars…we’re assuming)

Andre the Giant Battle Royal

And if it happens…Undertaker vs. John Cena

Michael Dworkis (Wrestling Editor, Senior Writer, Transformer Aficionado)

WWE Universal Title Match: Brock Lesnar (C) vs. Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns. Doesn’t matter whether Lesnar is leaving or not, this was made to push Reigns. We will see after WrestleMania, if this works. This is the Main Event Vince wants, not what we deserved.

Kurt Angle & Ronda Rousey vs. Stephanie McMahon & Triple H

Kurt Angle & Ronda Rousey – Hoping this will be a fun match. The will be the inevitable moment where Rousey turns into She-Hulk and mows down everyone. Rousey can’t start her WWE career with a loss.

WWE Championship: AJ Styles (C) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

Why oh why do I have to pick? Can I just pick “great match” and be done with it. Nakamura’s had the push, and Styles has been on top for so long, one could think it’s time for changing hands. Maybe it is. Ah, hell with it, I will go with Shinsuke Nakamura.

IC Title Match: The Miz (C) vs. Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor

The Miz will retain. Might be match of the night. There will be a lot of teasing for Balor or Rollins to win, but someway, somehow, The Miz gets another WrestleMania moment tonight.

US Title Match: Randy Orton (C) vs. Bobby Roode vs. Jinder Mahal vs. Rusev

I really don’t want Orton to win. I want Bobby Roode to win. I want Rusev Day to win. You know what, let’s get crazy, I was going to pick Bobby Roode, but I’m going with Rusev. Let’s celebrate Rusev Day!

Smackdown Women’s Championship: Charlotte Flair (C) vs. Asuka

Asuka. A loss for Asuka would have a similar reaction to the end of The Undertaker’s Streak. If it happens, it’s because WWE Creative wants to break the internet. The upside to a loss, it makes Asuka human… Except that may kill her star power.

RAW Women’s Championship: Alexa Bliss (C) vs. Nia Jax

Nia Jax. It’s Jax. It has to be Jax. I don’t care if she holds the championship for a week. The build for this is the victim standing up to the demoralizing bully is a simple formula for the inspiration storybook ending win. Jax has to win.

Daniel Bryan & Shane McMahon vs. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn

Calling Owens and Zayn for this one. The heels need a win. If for whatever reason they lose, it just means they show up on RAW tomorrow.

RAW Tag Titles: The Bar (C) vs. Braun Strowman & ??

Braun Strowman will be the Tag Team Champions. His tag team partner could be a small child or a Hello Kitty doll. It’s going to be fun to watch.

Smackdown Tag Titles: The Usos (C) vs. The New Day vs. The Bludgeon Brothers

Tough one to call, but I think WWE wants us to take the Bludgeon Brothers seriously, so they are my pick to win. I expect the more entertaining moments to feature Luke Harper and combinations of The Usos and The New Day.

Cruiserweight Tile Match: Mustafa Ali vs. Cedric Alexander

Cedric Alexander. Long overdue. It seems every time he was slated to challenge for the championship, injury, someone else getting suspended, or some other debacle derailed it. It’s finally happening at WrestleMania, and it’s time he gets his gold.

Women’s Battle Royal (Ruby Riott, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Carmella, Sarah Logan, Liv Morgan, Dana Brooke, Sonya Deville, Mickie James, Mandy Rose, Naomi…and various guest stars…we’re assuming) – I don’t know why, but I’m picking Becky Lynch. Just feels like she’s going to come out on top.

Andre the Giant Battle Royal (Potential Entrants…EVERYONE who isn’t on the show)

Damien Sandow, Zack Ryder, Tyler Bate, maybe one last hurrah for Mark Henry… But I’m picking the guy making his main roster debut… JOHNNY GARGANO.

And if it happens…Undertaker vs. John Cena

If it happens, I pick The Undertaker. All that hype only for the deadman to lose? Wouldn’t make sense to me. Then again, the fact he has two losses in the span of five years doesn’t make sense to me either.

Rob Crowther IV (Contributor, Drummer for Vextion, Host of the Bob Culture Podcast)

WWE Universal Title Match: Brock Lesnar (C) vs. Roman Reigns: It’s almost a certainty that Reigns will finally win the Universal Title. (Should be Braun)

Kurt Angle & Ronda Rousey vs. Stephanie McMahon & Triple H:Ronda wins her debut match with Kurt Angle almost undoubtedly in my mind.

WWE Championship: AJ Styles (C) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura: This is actually a tough one for me. Styles is a guys that CAN LOSE at any time, and that’s something I love about him. He is the right guy to have the WWE title, and he’s had it for a good while now. Ultimately, I’m changing my pick to Nakamura only because of injury questions with Styles.

IC Title Match: The Miz (C) vs. Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor:The Miz simply because he is going to break that IC title reign record.

US Title Match: Randy Orton (C) vs. Bobby Roode vs. Jinder Mahal vs. Rusev:Jinder is going to win the US Title, and really annoy us about it.

Smackdown Women’s Championship: Charlotte Flair (C) vs. Asuka: This could be the match of the night. Unfortunately, I don’t think Charlotte is ready for Asuka. (This time around) I think Asuka takes it and continues her win streak.

RAW Women’s Championship: Alexa Bliss (C) vs. Nia Jax: I think Nia wins in a somewhat quick, dominating fashion. I feel like this could be a very rushed match for time reasons.

Daniel Bryan & Shane McMahon vs. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn: We’re all so happy Daniel Bryan is wrestling again, I think he would be happy to lose matches forever as long as he could compete. If Shane can’t go hoping for the Big Red Machine to reiginite TEAM HELL NO. I think Owens and Zayn unquestionably are winning this match.

RAW Tag Titles: The Bar (C) vs. Braun Strowman & ?? PLEASE BE REY PLEASE BE REY PLEASE BE REY! It’s not the right title for Braun, but I’ll be glad to see him holding up a belt. Did I mention, I hope his partner is REY? BOOYAKA

Smackdown Tag Titles: The Usos (C) vs. The New Day vs. The Bludgeon Brothers: The Usos have dominated the tag division, owned their mistakes, and really haven’t had any Wrestlemaniamoments. I doubted their gimmick change and I’ll admit I was wrong. It’s their time. The Usos retain.

Cruiserweight Tile Match: Mustafa Ali vs. Cedric Alexander: This is another Match that could go either way. They are both top notch cruiser weights. I’m gonna go with Cedric simply because I believe he was going to win the title before it had to be vacated. I knew he’d be in the finals of the tournament, so I’ll stick with Cedric.

Women’s Battle Royal (Ruby Riott, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Carmella, Sarah Logan, Liv Morgan, Dana Brooke, Sonya Deville, Mickie James, Mandy Rose, Naomi…and various guest stars…we’re assuming): Let’s Just say this match will be Straight Fire. I think Becky Lynch scores a big win here.

Andre the Giant Battle Royal (Potential Entrants…EVERYONE who isn’t on the show): I honestly have no clue. I was thinking Ziggler might get it, but I was also thinking Goldust comes out of nowhere to win this. I’ll go with Dolph Ziggler.

And if it happens…Undertaker vs. John Cena: Can we just not have Undertaker lose at Mania anymore? I understand putting guys over, but let’s make sure Undertaker wins this one. Taker all day, everyday.

Nick Porcaro (Senior Writer, Guitarist Matt Scuteri & The Jive Stewards)

WWE Universal Title Match: Brock Lesnar (C) vs. Roman Reigns
This has been a lock for (over?) a year now. Bye bye, Brock—don’t let the door hit you on the way out.

Kurt Angle & Ronda Rousey vs. Stephanie McMahon & Triple H
Ronda is the company’s biggest new star. There’s no way she loses her first match, even if it’s to WWE’s heir apparent and her husband.

WWE Championship: AJ Styles (C) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
They haven’t done enough with Nakamura for me to believe he’s a worthy champion, plus it’d be amusing to see AJ get his win back after losing to the King of Strong Style at Wrestle Kingdom 10.

IC Title Match: The Miz (C) vs. Seth Rollins vs. Finn Bálor
The Miz certainly deserves to achieve the longest combined IC title reigns of all time, but get the belt off him as soon as possible once he breaks Pedro Morales’ record. The man has a baby daughter to take care of, damn it!

US Title Match: Randy Orton (C) vs. Bobby Roode vs. Jinder Mahal vs. Rusev
As much as I want to believe in all things handsome and Bulgarian, Randy’s held the title for less than a month. Enjoy the sound of deafening “Rusev Day” chants while you look at your phone.

SmackDown Women’s Championship: Charlotte Flair (C) vs. Asuka
While breaking Asuka’s undefeated streak would be a huge feather in the cap of Charlotte, she doesn’t need it. Let’s see where Asuka goes with the gold across her waist.

RAW Women’s Championship: Alexa Bliss (C) vs. Nia Jax
If this match goes over two minutes, I riot. Alexa has been nothing short of despicable in this feud, and it would be a huge disservice to have The Irresistible Force lose after all the ugly insults she weathered from Little Miss Bliss. Squash her like a bug, Nia!

Daniel Bryan & Shane McMahon vs. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn
Disagreements between Bryan and McMahon will cause the SmackDown LIVE bosses to fracture. I don’t see where Owens and Zayn would fit on a sure-to-be stacked post-WrestleMania RAW roster, so they’ll probably get their jobs back on the blue brand.

RAW Tag Titles: The Bar (C) vs. Braun Strowman & ??
Braun’s partner costs the match for him. Braun destroys his partner. Everyone laughs. Hopefully the Authors of Pain arrive on RAW to revitalize its tag division.

SmackDown Tag Titles: The Usos (C) vs. The New Day vs. The Bludgeon Brothers
The Usos deserve a WrestleMania moment for the ages. They haven’t wrestled on the main card once in their eight-year WWE career. The New Day lose nothing by taking the pin, while The Bludgeon Brothers have plenty of chances to win the titles going forward.

Cruiserweight Tile Match: Mustafa Ali vs. Cedric Alexander
Mustafa Ali is the MVP of this WrestleMania season and it isn’t even close. Don’t believe me? Watch the multitude of intense promos he self-produced over the past few months. Or better yet, watch his incredible 205 Live tournament matches against Jack Gallagher, Buddy Murphy, and Drew Gulak. He’s the most honorable babyface WWE has, and this is his time!

Women’s Battle Royal (Ruby Riott, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Carmella, Sarah Logan, Liv Morgan, Dana Brooke, Sonya Deville, Mickie James, Mandy Rose, Naomi…and various guest stars…we’re assuming) — You can predict any surprise entrants.
Give Becky Lynch something, please! Having Sasha and Bayley eliminate each other—or having Becky eliminate both—would be a great step forward for the former best friends’ feud on RAW, plus a win for the Lass Kicker would hopefully put her in a good place to challenge for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Hopefully.

Andre the Giant Battle Royal (Potential Entrants…EVERYONE who isn’t on the show)
Give it to Woken Matt Hardy and have him take it a step further by pursuing the RAW Tag Titles once Jeff’s healthy. WWE redid The Final Deletion already, so why not revisit The Expedition of Gold?

And if it happens…Undertaker vs. John Cena
If we’re to believe Undertaker is returning as the American Badass, why would he lose to Cena in his first match as Biker Taker since 2004? Cena will continue his (admittedly silly) redemption saga both in and out of the ring.

Kenny Pete (Contributor, Drummer for Dub Proof)

WWE Universal Title Match: Brock Lesnar (C) vs. Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns will defeat Brock Lesnar to win the Universal title in the main event and also cement his place in history as the only man to defeat Brock Lesnar, Triple H and The Undertaker at Wrestlemania.Kurt Angle & Ronda Rousey vs. Stephanie McMahon & Triple H

Triple H & Stephanie aren’t here to win, they are here to get the beatdown they so richly deserve as the last 2 months of television would have you believe. This will be an entertaining spectacle.

WWE Championship: AJ Styles (C) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

The match I’m most looking forward to & will be an excellent compliment to the match these men had in the Tokyo dome for New Japan Pro Wrestling in 2015.

IC Title Match: The Miz (C) vs. Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor

This will be a very fun match. I think Finn needs the win the most here as Seth will most likely go back to the world title picture & will put Miz on a collision course with recently re-instated Daniel Bryan

US Title Match: Bobby Roode (C) vs. Randy Orton vs. Jinder Mahal vs. Rusev
This was supposed to be another Triple Threat match, involving 3 of the most ice cold talents on the current smackdown roster. Once they add a little Russev sauce to this match, it increases the profile of this match tenfold. Also, the company has a history of when they add a late addition to an established match, they usually win. Russev is one of the hottest acts in the company and him winning the US title brings both a feel good moment & helps freshen up that entire program.

Smackdown Women’s Championship: Charlotte Flair (C) vs. Asuka
This match will steal the show. Everyone knows it will be good, not everyone knows it’s going to be Great. Asuka doesn’t lose, there is no reason for her to lose this match and it will be her official coronation as the top woman in the industry.
RAW Women’s Championship: Alexa Bliss (C) vs. Nia Jax

The classic, “you were my friend, but I only used you to keep my title” angle is pro wrestling 101 and always works. This match is no different with the audience wanting to see Nia Jax get her revenge on the spoiled brat Alexa Bliss. Nia will have lots of fun throwing around the much smaller Alexa, but in the end Bliss will use the old adage “Cheat to win” and walk out of Wrestlemainia the RAW Women’s champion.

Daniel Bryan & Shane McMahon vs. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn

YES YES YES! Daniel Bryan has been re-instated after a grueling 2 year process of concussion tests to finally be cleared by doctors to be allowed to perform in a WWE ring. Owens & Sayn have been a thorn in the side of the Smackdown GM team of Bryan & Shane McMahon for months and will finally be vanquished by a flurry Daniel Bryan wrestle stuff, only for the rudo team of Owens & Sayn to leave Smackdown & show up on the RAW after the Mania of Wrestling.

RAW Tag Titles: The Bar (C) vs. Braun Strowman & ??

Braun is the literal biggest act they have right now, parter or no partner, he will win this match & become RAW Tag Team Champions, even if those champions are his left & right arms.

Smackdown Tag Titles: The Usos (C) vs. The New Day vs. The Bludgeon Brothers
The Usos have been the brightest light in the Smackdown Tag Team division for the last year & this will be the cementing of their legacy as one of the greatest tag teams in the history of this great sport.

Cruiserweight Tile Match: Mustafa Ali vs. Cedric Alexander

This match will be awesome & I hope it goes on at a time when the arena is at least half full. For everything these men have had thrown at them and how many times their talents have been overlooked, this is the time where they have a chance to steal the show & put on an excellent match that people will remember for years.

Women’s Battle Royal (Ruby Riott, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Carmella, Sarah Logan, Liv Morgan, Dana Brooke, Sonya Deville, Mickie James, Mandy Rose, Naomi…and various guest stars…we’re assuming) — You can predict any surprise entrants.

I think this one will come down to a confrontation between Sasha Banks & Bayley and will be a ‘make good’ on those 2 women not having a singles match to pay off the angle that has been going on between them for the past few months. This is the time when Sasha goes full turn to the dark side, eliminates Bayley and will kick start their program into a heated feud of excellent matches that could very well stretch out to Summerslam in August.

Andre the Giant Battle Royal (Potential Entrants…EVERYONE who isn’t on the show) HULKSTER BROTHER
What better way to bring back Hulk Hogan to the company than to have him win the battle royal named after the man who passed him the torch in the Pontiac Silverdome 30 years ago. Also, that over the top bump may be a bit too much for him to take at this point, so they will have no choice but to let him win, as per the precedent set by The Iron Sheik in the Wrestlemania 17 Gimmick Battle Royal

And if it happens…Undertaker vs. John Cena

If they throw to Kid Rock for the musical performance, don’t run out for a smoke break, because you could miss the return of The Undertaker reprising his role as “The American Badass” a/k/a Biker-Taker complete with Harley Davidson entrance. This will be the battle of ICONS across two generations and will definitely have more sizzle than substance. John Cena will defeat The Undertaker as he takes his last ride into the sunset and calls it a career.

DJ Chapman (Senior Writer, Co-Host Mad Bracket Status)

WWE Universal Title Match: Brock Lesnar (C) vs. Roman Reigns: Roman Reigns. The placement of this match really matters, I hope it doesn’t end Wrestlemania with 70,000 people booing Roman Reigns again. I’m predicting a clean match where Roman goes out on his back.

Kurt Angle & Ronda Rousey vs. Stephanie McMahon & Triple H: Kurt Angle & Ronda Rousey. I’m so nervous for this match, I want Rousey to be good and I want her to go over. We’ll have to see how the crowd reacts, this is another match where the placement will be important.

WWE Championship: AJ Styles (C) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura: Shinsuke Nakamura wins in a match for the ages. Look for a longer match here. I imagine this match will be placed later in the card to raise the crowd’s energy before the last part of the evening.

IC Title Match: The Miz (C) vs. Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor: Finn Balor as the Demon. The IC Title is the last push Finn needs to go completely over, The Miz and Seth Rollins are already at the megastar level, this is the push Finn needs.

US Title Match: Bobby Roode vs. Randy Orton (C) vs. Jinder Mahal vs. Rusev: Randy Orton retains. There are a going to be a lot of belt changes over the course of the night. This is the perfect opportunity for Bobby to make that heel turn we’ve all been waiting for.

Smackdown Women’s Championship: Charlotte Flair (C) vs. Asuka: The Empress of Tomorrow ASSSUKKKAAAAAAAAAA wins in an epic match for the ages! This is the match I’m the most excited for, it shouldn’t disappoint with two of the best wrestlers in WWE today.

RAW Women’s Championship: Alexa Bliss (C) vs. Nia Jax: Nia Jax wins in what will be a quick match. There are too many matches on this card for every match to be over 10 minutes, this could even be a squash match with Nia winning within 30 seconds.

BONUS PREDICTION: Carmella cashes in her Money in the Bank briefcase on this match, but losses quickly to Nia in a comedy spot.

Daniel Bryan & Shane McMahon vs. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn: Daniel Bryan & Shane McMahon win in will be a relatively quick match. Daniel Bryan will get his spots to shine but ultimately it will be a more succinct match to keep the show going. Kevin and Sami will be fired from Smackdown Live, only to show up the next day on Monday Night RAW with Vince overriding his son’s decision to fire Kevin and Sami.

RAW Tag Titles: The Bar (C) vs. Braun Strowman & ??: Braun Strowman and his partner, BIG CASS, beat the Bar. This is the perfect way to bring back Cass and just put the belt on him after everything that happened right before his injury. Even he isn’t 100% right he doesn’t have to wrestle that much, he can just have Strowman do most of the heavy lifting. It will also be fun to just have two giants dominating the tag division on RAW.

Smackdown Tag Titles: The Usos (C) vs. The New Day vs. The Bludgeon Brothers: The Bludgeon Brothers win. Even though I don’t want them to, there are too many faces winning on this card and I think it’ll be a good way for the Usos and New Day team up against a common enemy for the near term.

Cruiserweight Tile Match: Mustafa Ali vs. Cedric Alexander: Cedric Alexander, he deserves it and can bring a lot to the belt as one of the more talented wrestlers on 205 Live.

Women’s Battle Royal (Ruby Riott, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Carmella, Sarah Logan, Liv Morgan, Dana Brooke, Sonya Deville, Mickie James, Mandy Rose, Naomi…and various guest stars…we’re assuming): Bayley wins and makes her full heel turn carrying around the trophy for the next few months, which should at least make her reactions on RAW more interesting.

Andre the Giant Battle Royal (Potential Entrants…EVERYONE who isn’t on the show): Big Show wins. It feels appropriate with the Andre documentary coming out that WWE has a modern day giant win the Battle Royale.

And if it happens…Undertaker vs. John Cena: I know this probably isn’t going to happen BUT I’m predicting that this match never happens and the Mercedes Benz superdome burns to the ground during the ensuing riots.

MJ Rawls (Staff Writer, Photographer, Renaissance Man)

Women’s Battle Royal (Ruby Riott, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Carmella, Sarah Logan, Liv Morgan, Dana Brooke, Sonya Deville, Mickie James, Mandy Rose, Naomi…and various guest stars…we’re assuming) — You can predict any surprise entrants. – Sasha Banks

Andre the Giant Battle Royal (Potential Entrants…EVERYONE who isn’t on the show) – Goldberg.

Anthony Toto (Senior Writer, Super Saiyan, Instagram Editor)

WWE Universal Title Match: Brock Lesnar (C) vs. Roman Reigns: Unfortunately, I feel the UFC has taken the wind out of this match and I hope it doesn’t headline WrestleMania. Reigns has definitely improved on the mic and he is a solid performer but I’m more interested in the other title matches. The outcome of this bout is too predictable but maybe Brock Lesnar does win, theoretically speaking, to prove that fans cannot always trust the dirtsheets. He did end The Undertaker’s streak after all (pukes). Speaking of which, Kid Rock will perform American Badass and The Undertaker will dress like the Deadman and ride out to the ring with his motorcycle to fight John Cena at some point. Expect a hybrid of his two characters. Just my prediction.

Winner: Roman Reigns

Kurt Angle & Ronda Rousey vs. Stephanie McMahon & Triple H

No need to elaborate on this match and I’m not too interested in this one. I’m excited to see Kurt Angle wrestle for sure and curious to see Ronda’s transition from the octagon to the squared circle.

Winner: Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey

WWE Championship: AJ Styles (C) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

I’m just going to go ahead and say it; AJ Styles is the greatest in-ring performer that I have ever seen. From his days in the X-Division to becoming the WWE champion, he continues to defy the laws of gravity and produces captivating matches with every single performer he works with. I approach watching AJ Styles in the same vein as an NBA fan who is stoked to see Michael Jordan, LeBron James, and Kevin Durant dominate every game: anything is possible whenever “The Phenomenal One” steps into the ring. Nakamura vs. AJ Styles 1 is possibly the greatest wrestling match of this decade and I hope they have a solid twenty-minutes/half-hour to tell their story. Nakamura is an exceptional talent who possesses otherworldly charisma and this could be the breakout he truly needs to thrive in the WWE. This is such a hard decision…

Winner: AJ Styles

IC Title Match: The Mix (C) vs. Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor

I’m stoked for this match and all three performers will put on a wrestling clinic. It’s been unbelievable to see Rollins regain his momentum simply due to his exceptional in-ring talents and he deserves the carry the torch for the company. The same compliments could be applied to Balor and winning the IC title could be a wonderful launching pad towards competing for the WWE Universal Title. In my eyes, The Miz has become the mainstream (full-time) face of WWE and he is a solid worker with an unmatched intensity on the mic. I could actually see him retaining the title and breaking the streak for longest IC title reign in WWE history. I love the unpredictability since all three contestants are more than capable of winning.

Winner: Seth Rollins

US Title Match: Bobby Roode (C) vs. Randy Orton vs. Jinder Mahal vs. Rusev

Without sounding too snarky, this has been the absolute worst build-up for any WrestleMania match in quite some time. Dare I say, this match deserves the pre-show treatment. Rusev organically put himself over with the WWE audience and deserves the title for his effort but either Orton will win or maybe Bobby Roode wins the title in stunning fashion, possibly an official heel turn that results in a long term feud with Rusev.

Winner: Bobby Roode

Smackdown Women’s Championship: Charlotte Flair (C) vs. Asuka

If WrestleMania is supposed to showcase the future stars of WWE, now is the time for “The Empress of Tomorrow” to claim her throne. Her transition to the main roster has been damn-near perfect and her in-ring presence is must-see television — I totally expect casual wrestling fans to immediately recognize and hopefully appreciate her one-of-a-kind originality, athleticism, and intensity. I hope this match headlines WrestleMania as I expect both competitors to bring their A-Plus effort for what could possibly become the modern Rock vs. Stone Cold or Macho Man vs Ricky Steamboat five-star classic.

Winner: Asuka!

RAW Women’s Championship: Alexa Bliss (C) vs. Nia Jax

I have disliked almost every creative decision involved with this feud. Juvenile insults that were directed toward Nia haven’t resulted in creating noteworthy hype for this match. Nia should win in theory but it’s definitely a possibility that Alexa Bliss retains her championship since this is the WWE.

Winner: Alexa Bliss

Daniel Bryan & Shane McMahon vs. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn

Who else felt the most awe-inspiring goosebumps as the crowd went berserk after Daniel Bryan started to land some “YES!” kicks on Kevin Owens? Nobody, I mean, nobody in the last decade has connected with the WWE audience and generated such an emotional outpouring of love quite like Daniel Bryan. He once made history at WrestleMania and overcame every single obstacle that stood in his way to become world champion in New Orleans. He will make history in New Orleans once again and expect his entrance to become one of the most iconic moments in the history of WrestleMania.

Winners: Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon

RAW Tag Titles: The Bar (C) vs. Braun Strowman & ??

Braun Strowman deserves every single title in the world after his instant classic “Countdown To Extinction” match with Elias. Witnessing him quote multiple Megadeth songs during his “Countdown” promo last month might just be the “Greatest Raw Moment” of this decade outside of CM Punk and Daniel Bryan’s work. Plus, Corey Graves had me in tears with his nods to “Reckoning Day,” “Train of Consequences,” Rust In Peace, etc. My prediction: Jeff Hardy will be Braun’s tag-team partner tomorrow night and they will defeat “The Bar.” This match could possibly steal the show, especially since Jeff’s return would generate such an epic roar from the crowd. The thought of this scenario gives me the chills and I truly hope my prediction comes to fruition!

Winners: Braun Strowman and Jeff Hardy

Smackdown Tag Titles: The Usos (C) vs. The New Day vs. The Bludgeon Brothers

The New Day will win tomorrow! The Usos’ latest title run has been the best of their careers thus far but The New Day have continued to shine each week on Smackdown and I absolutely love their chemistry and genuine sense of friendship that translates so well on television and social media. They are truly great dudes and I hope they win since they deserve to moment to shine as champions at WrestleMania.

Winner: The New Day

Cruiserweight Tile Match: Mustafa Ali vs. Cedric Alexander

Unfortunately, I have not been able to keep up with 205 Live in recent weeks and I am a fan of both competitors. I hope they steal the show and continue to solidify the unreal athleticism and ariel combat of cruiserweight wrestling and how it’s much needed and deserves to shine in WWE. My gut feeling says Ali will win for what should hopefully become an instant classic.

Winner: Mustafa Ali

Women’s Battle Royal (Ruby Riott, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Carmella, Sarah Logan, Liv Morgan, Dana Brooke, Sonya Deville, Mickie James, Mandy Rose, Naomi…and various guest stars…we’re assuming) — You can predict any surprise entrants.

If Becky Lynch doesn’t win, we riot! Becky Lynch is my all-time favorite women’s competitor and deserves the opportunity to shine more than anyone else in the entire company. She is the absolute perfect babyface and possesses unbelievable charisma and talent that charms, harms, and disarms her competition. Plus, her entrance music consistently generates some of the loudest cheers on Smackdown and seeing her hand off those Steampunk goggles to her fans brings back great memories of Bret Hart’s heyday. It’s been way too long since she received a title-shot and WWE has not utilized her to the best of her abilities. Enough is enough. Inaugural winner and Becky Lynch’s name go hand-in-hand. This victory should hopefully kickstart a huge push and give her a well-deserved boost of momentum whether she stays with Smackdown or transitions to Raw later this month.

Winner: Becky Lynch

Andre the Giant Battle Royal (Potential Entrants…EVERYONE who isn’t on the show)

Since the dawn of 2018, there has been an awakening in the confines of the terrestrial universe known as WWE! I have been #WOKEN ever since The Hardy Boyz made their WWE debut back in the late ‘90s. #TheUltimateDELETION trended number one WORLDWIDE on Twitter for three-hours and deserved every single Slammy Award for originality, freshness, and excitement. WWE Universal Title Match: Brock Lesnar (C) vs. Roman Reigns– This is Vince’s long-planned title transfer to Roman Reigns. It should have been done the year Seth Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank, but the Universe rebelled against the Roman Anointment. But, it’s been evident in the booking that McMahon is going to do what McMahon wants and he is elevating Reigns. If the title meant anything to drawing fans, he would not be so adamant. Reigns is a fair to poor performer with almost no personality whose continues to be rejected by most long-time observers and a good portion of the audience. The reign of Reigns could be the 21st Century equivalent of the Kevin Nash title run.

Kurt Angle & Ronda Rousey vs. Stephanie McMahon & Triple H- To quote the great Harley Race, “there is no way on God’s Green Earth” that Rousey will lose. The WWE has too much money and time invested in the former UFC champion to book a loss in her first match. On another subject, am I the only one who is sick and tired of the McMahon Family starring in its own shows? Their participation got old a long time ago.

WWE Championship: AJ Styles (C) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura– If Styles’s injury has healed, this has the potential to steal a Match of the Year candidate. These are the two best wrestlers/performers in the company and they bring down the house against other opponents. It is almost inconceivable what they might be able to accomplish against each other. Nakamura is going over and he will hold the title until their Summer Slam rematch with Shinsuke torturing Styles psychologically until then.

IC Title Match: The Miz (C) vs. Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor– It’s Finn’s time. His original championship run was cut short against Rollins and it’s time to try again. Mizanin will lose and take a leave to be with his wife and baby and promote their reality show. By the way, they keep pushing Miz’s reign as the longest in company history. That is the total number of days he’s held the belt in the ten years he’s been there. Another bogus idea.

US Title Match: Bobby Roode vs. Randy Orton (C) vs. Jinder Mahal vs. Rusev– I see this going one of two ways. Either Roode gets it back and begins a longer term as US Champ or Rusev regains the belt and starts his face run. If Vince is smart, he capitalizes on the Bulgarian nightmare’s popularity and makes it Rusev Day every day.

Smackdown Women’s Championship: Charlotte Flair (C) vs. Asuka– The streak will continue until Rousey ends it. Asuka’s run could have been so much more if she wasn’t forced to sell so much. She should have been a heel who wins quickly and tortures opponents. It would have made the streak more effective and matches like this more important. Ashley Fliehr is the best and most athletic wrestler on the women’s roster and she is still underutilized. I am more and more impressed by what she can do every time I see her. The rumor is this where Carmella will try to cash in. If she does, it’s Asuka-lock and Figure Eight time. She will not get the title.

RAW Women’s Championship: Alexa Bliss (C) vs. Nia Jax– Vince McMahon books big people in the most unrealistic manner. So far, Nia Jax may as well be Awesome Kong or Strowman or Andre. How in the name of everything holy can someone as small as Bliss have a chance against someone as athletic and strong as Jax? But, that’s wrestling. Jax wins tonight and loses the title back to Bliss sometime within the next six weeks.

Daniel Bryan & Shane McMahon vs. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn– Ugh. Shane McMahon. Again. And, he’s just out of the hospital. And, Bryan and he are going to win. The good thing is that Owens and Zayn will be going to Raw. And…..

RAW Tag Titles: The Bar (C) vs. Braun Strowman & ??– the Bar will lose this match and go to Smackdown. It’s an even trade. Strowman’s partner will be someone who he can feud with once their title run is over.

Smackdown Tag Titles: The Usos (C) vs. The New Day vs. The Bludgeon Brothers– What is Vince’s obsession with big, strong, dumb comic book-like characters? You have two of the most talented and athletic teams in company history having amazing matches and you introduce two charismatically deprived goons who are dressed as if they came straight out of one of the bad Flintstone movies into the mix. They are the tag-team equivalent of Sid Vicious and, just like Sid, they will be ignorantly handed the titles.

Cruiserweight Tile Match: Mustafa Ali vs. Cedric Alexander- Can anyone say “pre-show match?” Alexander wins.

Women’s Battle Royal (Ruby Riott, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Carmella, Sarah Logan, Liv Morgan, Dana Brooke, Sonya Deville, Mickie James, Mandy Rose, Naomi…and various guest stars…we’re assuming) — You can predict any surprise entrants.- If there are any plans to have a Four Horsewomen feud, this is where Vince will bring out Shayna Bayzler. I would hope they let Lynch win. Her stock has plummeted over the last six months. However, I can see them have either Liv Morgan or Mandy Rose win to get them out front more often.

Andre the Giant Battle Royal (Potential Entrants…EVERYONE who isn’t on the show)- Does it matter? Rawley won last year and he’s nowhere to be found. The most interesting part will be to see if Windham Rotunda participates using a new gimmick. It would be fun to see him claim the Hardy pond waters baptized him and he becomes the newest version of Brother Love. He can then ask us all to Bo-lieve.

And if it happens…Undertaker vs. John Cena- If the Dead Man comes, he wins. He then leaves having won his last match. I hope he stays retired so he can actually enjoy the rest of his life.
