Pop break Live: Matt & Kim at The Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ
This time last year, the indie pop duo, Matt and Kim, suffered their worst break as band yet. While performing at a music festival in Mexico, Kim torn her ACL, causing the band to cancel their remaining dates for the rest of the year while she recovered.
Almostone year later, Matt and Kim are back with a new album and tour, which kicked off in Sayreville, NJ at the Starland Ballroom.
Check out Pop Break’s interview with Matt Johnson, here.
Today, March 13, the duo dropped their new single, ‘Glad I Tried’ off their forthcoming album Almost Everyday, out May 4th on FADER Label. Guest vocalists on this track include: Santigold, Kevin Ray (Walk the Moon) and Travis Hawley (Night Riots) as they count it down about living your best life.
