Pop Break Live: Lotus at Club Metronome in Burlington, VT and Union Transfer in Philadelphia, PA.
This is a first for Pop Break — following a band to different venues on the same tour. We were stoked to do this with Lotus. The jam/electronic/post-rock outfit has been tearing up the greater jam scene for nearly 20 years, and we caught them at two very different venues.
The first was at Club Metronome in Burlington, Vermont for the city’s Mardi Gras event sponsored by Magic Hat Brewery. The city-wide event was nuts, and was capped off by Lotus’ two-set performance in the capacity club.

The second show was a month later at Union Transfer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The lighting at the venue only bolstered the audio journey that Lotus’ music puts you on from the minute they start playing.
BWAA award winning photographer, Matt Heasley caught the band in action at both locations.
