It was the announcement we were all hoping/waiting for — The Gaslight Anthem is returning to Asbury Park, New Jersey.

Fresh off their set at Governors Ball Music Festival this weekend, the band announced three additional dates to their ’59 Sound 2018 Tour. Those include August 13 at House of Blues in Boston, August 15 at The Fillmore in Philadelphia, and then finally August 17 at The Stone Pony Summer Stage.

Opening for Gaslight Anthem at The Stone Pony Summer Stage will be Matt Mays (look for our interview with him soon), and perennial AP favorite, Dave Hause (of The Loved Ones fame).

While Gaslight was technically born out of New Brunswick, NJ — the band made its mark in Asbury Park. Selling out venues instantaneously — including multiple years of Stone Pony Summer Stage headlining gigs.

The band, which announced its reunion earlier this year, will be touring their second, seminal record, The ’59 Sound in its entirety throughout North America, and Europe.

To commemorate the 10 year anniversary of the album, the band is releasing The ’59 Sound Sessions, “a new companion to the classic LP featuring nine rare and previously unreleased songs as well an all-new 60-page booklet.” THE record will be available digitally and physically as CD, LP, and Limited Deluxe Photobook LP via SideOneDummy Records on Friday, June 15.

THE ’59 SOUND SESSIONS is available for pre-order now at https://lnk.to/gaslightanthemPR.
