Chris Robinson Brotherhood’s Annual Asbury Park Jam is The Best Summer Tradition

Pop Break Live: Chris Robinson Brotherhood at The Stone Pony

The Chris Robinson Brotherhood have become a staple in the summer music scene of Asbury Park.

The former lead singer of The Black Crowes, and his amazing army of musicians — Neal Casal, Adam MacDougall, Jeff Hill, and Tony Leone — haved rolled into town usually in the sweltering days of late July/early August for the past few years.

Heat and rain be damned because this band always brings one of the best shows The Pony sees in a calendar year. Their guitar-driven jams are absolutely brilliant, and the always-packed house is always sent home happy.

This year, Pop Break’s Matt Heasley caught a the band as they performed on Thursday night July 26 as part of their ‘Barefoot in the Head’ tour.
